Captain George Sylvestre is an Fly Fishers International (FFI) Certified Casting Instructor, Fly Fishing Guide, and Educator

As lead guide and instructor for Sylvestre Outdoors, Captain George Sylvestre operates this family run business with the help of his wife and three sons. Together they provide clients with fly casting instruction, guided fly fishing trips (both fresh and saltwater), and fly fishing educational seminars from Cape Cod to the Berkshire region of Massachusetts and across Connecticut.

Captain Sylvestre is an FFI certified casting instructor (CCI), fly fishing guide, educator, and author. He regularly contributes articles to magazines including On the Fly, On the Water, The Loop, and Tail Magazine. He leads the Cape Cod chapter of Project Healing Waters (PHW) Fly Fishing and is the PHW Deputy New England Regional Coordinator for Casting and Education. He serves on Fly Fishers International Education Committee developing educational programs for fly anglers of all abilities. Pro Staff member Sage, Redington, and Rio. Trip Includes:

We can provide rods, reels, lines, flies, etc. for a small rental fee though our clients are encouraged to bring their own if they would like

Things to Bring:

- Waders (as needed)

- Sun screen / Sun glasses / Hat

- Snacks & Drinks

- Validate fishing license

Freshwater trips are subject to river conditions and saltwater wading trips are tide dependent. Your guide is responsible for your fishing experience so times and locations may be adjusted slightly based on conditions and weather.

Sylvestre Outdoors, LLC encourages catch and release fishing

DEPOSIT: A 25% deposit is required to reserve your booking

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either credit, cash, or Venmo

CLIENT CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 7 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged but dependent on guide availability.

GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit..
